Union County Real Estate Market Update — July 2026
If you’re watching the Union County market — whether you’re thinking of buying, selling, or just keeping tabs on your home’s value — here’s what I’m seeing on the ground right now.
Inventory & Pace
The Union County market continues to move faster than the broader Charlotte region. Well-priced homes in Waxhaw, Weddington, and Marvin are still seeing multiple offers in their first week. Indian Trail and Monroe are showing slightly more breathing room for buyers, with average days on market ticking up modestly from earlier in the year.
What I’m Seeing for Sellers
If you’re thinking of listing, positioning still matters more than ever. Homes that are priced right and show well are selling quickly. Overpriced homes are sitting — and in this market, a price reduction draws attention for the wrong reasons. The good news: well-maintained homes in top Union County neighborhoods are still commanding strong prices.
What I’m Seeing for Buyers
Buyer activity remains solid. If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, now is a good time to get serious — rates have stabilized, and serious competition means prepared buyers win. Having your pre-approval locked and knowing your target neighborhoods is more important than ever.
